The Degree Course in Hospitality Management , aimed at creating specialized figures in the hospitality sector, with respect to the main areas of activity of hospitality companies. The term " Hospitality Management" is particularly useful for the Diploma Supplement , issued by the University as it identifies a profession clearly defined at an international level.
The course was created in collaboration with the companies that best express the tourism hospitality sector in the Campania region, nationally and internationally. These companies have expressed concrete interest in participating in the initiative, not only for internships and placements but also for in-company training activities, managed together with the University. This aspect represents an undeniable point of the Degree Course , as the interaction with the companies concerns all phases of its implementation.
The course in Hospitality Management aims to train specialists in the culture of hospitality, with particular reference to Hotel Management and Food and Beverage Management in the hotel sector. It should be noted that foreign language terms are necessary as they have now been adopted, in the international panorama, by all hospitality companies. As part of a transversal preparation, it is possible for the student to specialize, through the subjects chosen and in the internship/traineeship activity, in the following areas: “Hotel Management” and “Food & Beverage in the hospitality company”.

Academic Requirements
High School Diploma or other qualification recognized as equivalent or suitable is required. And Knowledge in the humanistic-social and logical-quantitative fields is also required, also in reference to the tourism sector.
General Requirements
The admission test will consist of an oral exam. The interview will focus on general knowledge topics with particular reference to the general knowledge of the tourism sector. To study in Italy you will need a visa and the process to apply for the same differs from country to country. Below is a general process that is more relevant to Indian students.
- 1. You need to apply for a visa through an Italian embassy closest to your residency.
- 2. Start your visa application as early as possible as it may take up to 3 months for your visa to be granted.
- 3. Your passport must not be more than 10 years old and must be valid for at least 3 months more than the duration of the visa applying for.
- 4. Once all your documents are ready you can ‘book an appointment’ at a visa application centre and visit the centre on the date of appointment to submit your documents and get your biometrics done.
- 5. You also need to pay a visa fee which can be done at the centre itself.
- 6. Once a decision has been made on your application, you can either collect your passport from the visa application centre or get it couriered to you.

Working in Italy while studying
• As a student in Italy, you are allowed to work part-time.
• You can work part-time up to 20 hours per week during your studies and full-time during vacations.
• You need to obtain a temporary residence permit though.
Working in Italy after completing your studies
• As a Non-EU student, if you want to work in Italy after graduation, you will need a work permit.
• You can stay back in Italy for 12 months after completing your masters or PhD degree.
• You can apply for a post-study work permit only once you get a full-time job or an intership opportunity
• Your employer needs to apply for a work permit for you termed as 'Nulla osta al lavoro'
• Once the employer received the work permit, the student can proceed with his application for post-study work visa.
• Once you recieve your post-study work visa, only then you can apply for a residence permit.
• Generally any student holding a residence permit while studying and working part-time is bound to get a residence permit to work full-time in Italy
Getting a PR in Italy
Non-EU nationals who already hold a temporary residence permit can apply for a permanent residence permit if they fulfill the following requirements:
• To be able to apply for a PR in Italy you should have spent at least 5 years
• You should be working full-time with an Italian employer and should be required to stay in Italy.
