The Degree Course in Industrial Engineering Technology is a three-year open access programme, entirely taught in English. It is delivered in blended mode and the courses of the first semester of the first year are delivered completely online.
The Degree Course in Industrial Engineering Technology is a great opportunity for both Italian and international students and has the aim of training international professionals with technical knowledge in the industrial engineering sectors and specific skills in the energy, industrial safety and protection, automation and management. In particular, graduates in Industrial Engineering Technology will be able to: analyze and model basic engineering problems, energy and safety aspects of industrial plants, also through the use of ICT and smart technologies; support engineering design and testing; design and manage energy conversion systems based on both
traditional and renewable energy sources.
The Degree Course in Industrial Engineering Technology is designed in such a way as to allow graduates to enroll without educational debt in the Master's Degree Courses in Engineering available at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio and taught in English, namely: Master's Degree Course in Mechanical Engineering; Master's Degree Course in Civil and Environmental Engineering; Master's Degree Course in Telecommunications Engineering.

Must first have a high school diploma or another qualification obtained abroad that is recognized as equivalent to the previous ones which includes Basic scientific knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Maths as well as Logic and Verbal Comprehension.
General Requirements
Prospective Students are required to take a non selective orientation and evaluation test to determine aptitude and preparation. Prospective Students can take the Test On Line Cisia (TOLC) and, in particular, the English TOLC-I test, consisting of questions from the following areas: Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Sciences and Reading Comprehension. To study in Italy you will need a visa and the process to apply for the same differs from country to country. Below is a general process that is more relevant to Indian students.
- 1. You need to apply for a visa through an Italian embassy closest to your residency.
- 2. Start your visa application as early as possible as it may take up to 3 months for your visa to be granted.
- 3. Your passport must not be more than 10 years old and must be valid for at least 3 months more than the duration of the visa applying for.
- 4. Once all your documents are ready you can ‘book an appointment’ at a visa application centre and visit the centre on the date of appointment to submit your documents and get your biometrics done.
- 5. You also need to pay a visa fee which can be done at the centre itself.
- 6. Once a decision has been made on your application, you can either collect your passport from the visa application centre or get it couriered to you.

Working in Italy while studying
• As a student in Italy, you are allowed to work part-time.
• You can work part-time up to 20 hours per week during your studies and full-time during vacations.
• You need to obtain a temporary residence permit though.
Working in Italy after completing your studies
• As a Non-EU student, if you want to work in Italy after graduation, you will need a work permit.
• You can stay back in Italy for 12 months after completing your masters or PhD degree.
• You can apply for a post-study work permit only once you get a full-time job or an intership opportunity
• Your employer needs to apply for a work permit for you termed as 'Nulla osta al lavoro'
• Once the employer received the work permit, the student can proceed with his application for post-study work visa.
• Once you recieve your post-study work visa, only then you can apply for a residence permit.
• Generally any student holding a residence permit while studying and working part-time is bound to get a residence permit to work full-time in Italy
Getting a PR in Italy
Non-EU nationals who already hold a temporary residence permit can apply for a permanent residence permit if they fulfill the following requirements:
• To be able to apply for a PR in Italy you should have spent at least 5 years
• You should be working full-time with an Italian employer and should be required to stay in Italy.
